In-App Recording

You can now record your games using the Balltime iOS app and upload them directly to Balltime!

Why Use Our In-App Recording Feature?

Our recommended camera presets ensure high-quality recordings while keeping file sizes manageable for faster uploads.

Should I Split the Recording Between Sets?

For the best experience, we recommend recording each set separately to ensure the match is correctly divided. However, this is not mandatory—our algorithm can automatically detect long breaks and split sets accordingly.

Does My Video Upload Automatically?

Uploads require a stable internet connection. If your device is connected to a reliable network, you can manually start the upload process.

Troubleshooting Failed Uploads

If an upload fails, check your Photos library for a backup copy and try uploading again when connected to a strong internet signal.

How to Use:

  1. Open up your Videos tab in the mobile app and select the Upload icon.

  1. Select Record Video.

  1. Select Allow for all Recording Permissions.

  2. Fill out your recording information as it relates to your video.

  3. Tap the settings toggle in the top right corner and enable this setting to automatically save your video to your camera roll.

  4. Reminder that this feature is still in our BETA version, so you may want to have a backup recording device.

  5. Press Next and start your In-App Recording!
